Product details

Our seasonal release from producer Don Mariano. initially Somewhere was created as an experiment to see the effects of longer fermentation from Daydream (a yellow honey process).

We enjoyed it so much that we've brought it back for several years in a row. This year's release is really on the sweet jammy side, and a little bit less funky than other years. On heavy rotation at Cafe Yamabiko for both Filter and Espresso options.

NOTES FROM THE MASTER ROASTER:

For those who have tried Somewhere in previous years, you will find this year’s release to be a bit more balanced and less funky. We are enjoying the clarity of the fruit flavours and the jammy sweetness of the release particularly on Aeropress.

ABOUT THE ART

Duality

The inspiration of this art was to be the flipside of Daydream since they are both the same coffee, this is simply processed further. The idea of a dark version of Daydream was to play into the idea of the black honey vs yellow honey processing. The name somewhere was that the coffee will take you somewhere you have not been before.
