Move is back - this season we are very excited to be offering a lot from Didier Ortega, who is both a coffee producer, as well as one of the founding members of the Monkaaba group.

The roasting team have had the pleasure of knowing Didier for many years, he has visited our roastery in Sutton and he's also acted as a tour guide for us in Colombia when visiting farms in the Monkaaba group.

Didier has produced an exceptional coffee. It has intense floral aromas such as rose and jasmin, as well tropical fruit. The cup is vibrant, juicy, complex and very sweet. We are getting notes of rose, pink icing sugar, apricot and more tropical notes. 

We've approached this a fast light roast to highlight the vibrant fruit flavours and floral aromas.

NOTES FROM THE MASTER ROASTER:

We are so happy to have gotten our hands on a small lot fo Didier's coffee this year. We met Didier back in 2023 when he visited our roastery in Sutton. When we heard about Colombia and the Monkaaba group in San Agustin from Didier we decided to go visit for ourselves. While in Colombia Didier also acted as our tour guide, taking us to all of the farms surrounding the town of San Agustin.

Lastly, the coffee is fantastic. Drinking this coffee makes me feel happy, its vibrant and juicy. If you love washed Colombians like me then you will not be dissapointed.

About the Artwork

Our artist Sayuri Minagawa came up with this new design for us last year. The art makes us feel like dancing and just having fun. This has become the perfect artwork for our series of limited release coffees from Colombia.
