Product details
Michi is a Japanese word meaning 'unknown'. Take a dive into another world with this coffee.
A truly unique coffee for the summer menu. We are very happy to offer this natural process Kenyan which is an uncommon and for most an unknown processing method in Kenya. The coffee is sweet and juicy, but not funky.
The coffee displays candy-like sweetness that reminds us of white chocolate, with a syrupy texture. Juicy fruit flavours are revealed as it cools with notes of cherry, berries, peach and fig.
An excellent fruit forward espresso and an approachable filter coffee. Roasted light, but with enough development to bring out the sweetness and body in the coffee without hiding the wonderful fruit tasting notes.

NOTES FROM THE MASTER ROASTER:
Our first foray into the word of natural Kenyan coffee. We wanted to find something unique this summer that we've never had on the menu before, we were delighted to find this natural process.
Kenyan washed coffees have a very distinct flavour profile, so we were surprised at how different the natural version tastes. We found this coffee profile has sweet white chocolate flavours upfront, with lots of juicy fruit undertones ranging from berries, cherry, fig and peach. The sweetness makes the coffee very approachable, and there's still lots of fruit flavour to unlock on a V60 or espresso.
Dive into the unknown. Our theme for this coffee is taking a journey to the other side or to the unknown. The word Michi translates to unknown or unknown path and the artwork illustrates the coffee taking you to a different world. Steeped in mystery we hope this coffee will add some adventure to your morning.
