A staple on the Yamabiko menu, this "almost classic" espresso offers notes of milk chocolate with subtle dried fruit or candy berries depending on the extraction. Brazilian coffee provides the smooth chocolate base, currently blended with a natural Ethiopian from the Guji region.
Good as Gold, an homage to our friends in Australia who inspired us to start our coffee journey. The art is complete with a rainbow lorikeet from Australia, and the name is an inside joke about the Aussie saying.

NOTES FROM THE MASTER ROASTER:
We discovered this blend on the cupping table one day, and we all said to ourselves, damn thats good. Then we made the joke it's Good as Gold, doing an imitation of one of our favourite Aussie sayings.
It’s been a regular on our menu ever since as our fruit-forward espresso blend. It works nicely as a filter coffee as well.
To me, it reminds me of the type of espresso drink we would get back in Fitzroy, Melbourne.
Gold Coast Inspo
We wanted to make a coffee for Australia, which is where founders Chris and Nahaoko found their love for specialty coffee. The bird on the bag is a rainbow lorikeet, one of our favourite birds, and Good as Gold was a famous saying from one of our friends.
